The Callicoon area is located in the beautiful Western Catskills, New York in the scenic Upper Delaware River Valley of Sullivan County. Callicoon has a charming downtown with lovely shops, art galleries and great restaurants. There are activities and events throughout the year, including a farmers market on Sundays from May to November, a tractor parade, canoe regatta, street fair, Halloween parade, community dances and pancake breakfasts. The holiday season brings whimsical decorations and a holiday farmer’s market and craft fair.
The hamlet is conveniently located. Nearby communities include Jeffersonville, Roscoe, Narrowsburg, and Bethel, NY and Tyler Hill and Honesdale, PA. The new Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 10-minute car ride away and you’ll reach New York City in only two hours.
