Callicoon Real Estate, LLC is an exciting venture, with a unique perspective, to benefit you and your real estate transactions serving the New York and Pennsylvania markets. We are eager to help. We enjoy getting to know a client and providing a smooth process for a successful and enjoyable transaction.

The company is owned and operated by Rosie DeCristofaro, a resident of the Callicoon area since 1988. Rosie has been assisting buyers and sellers in residential and commercial property transactions in Sullivan and Delaware Counties, New York, and Wayne and Pike Counties, Pennsylvania, since the early nineties.

Born and raised in Germany, and fluent in several languages, she came to this country after having lived in France and Spain. She and husband Bob spent seven years in the Callicoon area as second homeowners, and then decided to establish a business in Callicoon, The 1906 Restaurant & Steak House. They have been fulltime residents ever since, raising their two sons, who now attend college.

Debbie Hornicek, Associate Broker, joined the company at the beginning of 2010. Debbie has also listed and sold properties in the Upper Delaware River Valley and Western Catskill region of Sullivan County for many years. She was born and raised in Callicoon near her grandfather’s farm. She learned people skills in her father’s successful restaurant. She decided to close her own early business venture so that she and husband Tim could raise their son and daughter who now attend college.

Rosie and Debbie are members of the National Association of Realtors and the New York and Pennsylvania state chapters, as well as members of the Multiple Listing Services of Sullivan County and the Greater Hudson Valley, New York, as well as Pike/Wayne Counties in Pennsylvania. Rosie also presently serves as a director of the Sullivan County Board of Realtors. She is Vice Chairperson of the Town of Delaware’s Planning Board; is her town’s representative on the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway Board; was president of the Callicoon Business Association and is currently its Treasurer. She is involved in numerous community activities such as town beautification and fundraisers. Debbie and her family are active in many community functions and are very much involved with their local volunteer fire department.
